Thanksgiving Thankful Thanks...

As I sit here listening to my now "classic" iPod...I of course give thanks to the many wonderful things in my life. My fams, my friends, my dude, healthy hair and nails, Facebook. All of those things have brought such happiness to my life and I am extremely thankful, but as I look around my apartment, I realize that there are also a lot of little things in life that bring smiles to my heart that I never get to thank. So I'd like to take this opportunity to give thanks to certain inanimate objects that never get to hear it (well, they'll never really "hear" it, but you know what I mean)

MY BUBBA KEG
This pink bevera
ge holder allows me to support my addiction to drinking ice cold seltzer water with a splash of lemon through a straw all day long. Side thanks to Target for introducing me to this wonderful addition to my kitchen cupboard.

MY GLASS JAR FILLED WITH JELLY BEANS
I don't really like jellybeans, but I wo
n this jar of candy at a friend's baby shower. We had to guess how many beans were in there and I was the closest. I never win that game, so I'm pretty proud that I finally won one after all these years. Not only did I win the jar, but I also received a gift certificate to Burke Williams! I usually get potpourri thingys at showers. I like the BW gift certificate a little better.

MY ETHNICALLY DIVERSE BOBBLE HEADS FROM EBAY
I have a lot of little chotchkies arou
nd my place. I like little splashes of color and I often find myself on ebay or at garage sales looking at random things. I've always wanted Vintage Asian Bobbleheads. One of my best friend's Mom is also a lover of chotchkies and I found myself drooling over her cute little Kissy Lip Asian Bobbleheads, so I found a pair of my own. I also wanted to honor my boyfriend who is not of the Asians, so I bought a red-headed bobble boy to match. Now the Asian girl and the red-headed boy live happy next to the living room phone.

ONLINE DICTIONARIES

I may or may not have mis-pronounced the word, "deteriorate" several times in my life. I'm thankful that I can go to the inter web to help me out sometimes.

SASHA FIERCE
I'm thankful for Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video becaus
e I LOVE to dance my butt off to it. I'm sure it'll come in handy after I eat a whole Turducken tomorrow for breakfast.
(another side thanks to SNL for the JT sketch)

MY CANVAS SHOPPING BAGS

I ALWAYS go grocery shopping with my canvas shopping bags. Yeah, it's good for the planet and stuff, but they also help me to carry lots of groceries in because I can throw the bag over my shoulder instead of having to hold them. I have very weak hands. I can barely open up a bottle of water. I also think it's funny when I carry my bags in the store and I just throw groceries in them. I get to walk on the dark side and feel like I'm shoplifting, but then feel like a perfect little citizen by paying for everything before I leave. Good times.

MY FRIEND DEEDEE MAGNO
I am well aware that Deedee isn't an inanimate object, but I feel the need to thank her at this moment. I love this girl. I was first introduced to Miss Magno by my best friend Gayle when we were kids. Deedee was in The Mickey Mouse Club and she was in the Pop group The Party. I first met Deedee when I joined the
tour of Miss Saigon. She's super cool and I'm thankful to her and Youtube for allowing me to watch fun videos like this one:

I could go on and on with things to thank, but it's time to rest up for the big day tomorrow. I'm thankful. The end:)

Have a Happy Turkey Day GobbleMcGobblestones!!!!
